Wishing you on your birthday is a joyous moment
For both, the giver and the receiver.
BLESSINGS pour from all over, across the seas and oceans
Parents and Grandparents, paternal and maternal
Recall the day you entered the lives of Sujatha and Karthik,
Much more to be a sibling to Neha;
Over the years, we have seen you move up the ladder.

A toddler more mischievous than most at your time,
Pranks played in and around the stores of Lafayette we roamed
The new house was built, to welcome you in time for your 1st birthday and Poonal” celebrations  that followed
And then, a family reunion at sea, at holiday resorts, and what is more, travels abroad;
Your cute smile, sparkling eyes, and your curly hair stand out when holding the tennis racquet high,
Your sprightly jump to get the ball to the nets.
Adorning your favorite sportsman's wear ‘Dwayne Wade’.
Seeing you play in your school gym
Was a great sight to recollect.
From there, on to Stanford, and back in town
You multiply the joy around us, divide your time assisting me!

Especially adding new topics to discuss
And least subtract anything from your daily routine.
Amazing activities you planned for us to see the White House
Rarely does one get in a short time;
Just in time to take to the wheels,
Unmindful, devouring the food  given with TLC
Now it's time to start a new Page
in a few years to come.

Medals and Trophies, small and big
Adorn the walls and landing spaces in your home:
Turning left or right, we love the displays
Of your journey from a Toddler to a Teen and beyond.
Our token to recollect those days we went round this magnificent building;
Is here for you to look to and beyond:
As you dive in to build from scratch, the best pastime of your childhood!!!!

How My Blog Came To Be

When people discuss in the drawing room, "Hey have you seen this news on ....blog!" I used to wonder what they are talking.  Then I thought  of making a blog and sharing my views and experiences. My blog took shape when my granddaughter helped me to create one.  SO FROM HERE, WE GO.....I was very happy to get going, thanks to  my granddaughter (Neha Ramani) and grandson (Arjun Ramani), for their inspiration! Admiring my interest in becoming tech savvy, they worked with me tirelessly, to get me to my first blog post. So here it goes. Vatsala
